I'm just sitting here, looking at this photo. This is not the day my Ugandan journey started. This is the day that mine and Justine's heart infused into one. This is the day that our jouney began.
Our story is documented on our website, and previous Blogs. It's hard to type between the tears. I didn't share the details of Justine's death in the previous blog, we didn't have all of the facts at that time. Now we do. She was murdered, mowed down by a car driven by a mad person. Why? We don't know.
This is not a post about her death. It's a post about her life.
I approached the family with the idea of writing her story, and that's when they told me that she had always wanted to write a book about her life. Well. that's conformation from God.
I decided to go back to Uganda and collect testimonies from family and friends from Dec 14th - Jan 8th, I bought a Plaud dictaphone that records, translates and transcribes. I also bought earbuds that translates from person to person. They get an ear piece, and so do I. I hear English and they hear Lugandan.
I want to collect as many testimonies that I'm able to. Justine has touched so many lives. It's only been after her death that these stories have come to light. So many lives, so many stories.
I pray that God will fill me with His spirit as I partake in this journey. I want to do justice to Justine's life and all of the lives that have been touched by hers.
